Kawartha in September of 1963. Some Highlights in Kawartha's Past: 1924 Kawartha built by the Stevens Family out of old water towers. The beams come from a barn built in 1792. 1956 Kawartha purchased by the Luce Family. 1957 Kawartha electrified. 1963 Kawartha purchased by the Purkis Family. Camp checks out in January 1964 1964 Indoor (summer) plumbing installed for the first time. Dad, Art and Jack climb Bald for the first time (1964). First flag raising (ca 1966).
