The beams come from a barn built in 1792.

1956    Kawartha purchased by the Luce Family.

1957    Kawartha electrified.

1963    Kawartha purchased by the Purkis Family.

1964    Indoor (summer) plumbing installed for the first time.

Dad, Art and Jack climb Bald for the first time (1964).

First flag raising (ca 1966).  Note the old rowboat in the background.

Replacing the culvert with a hollow log.

Jack and Art race the moose to the corner.  Ends in a dead heat.

Check out Art's pants...

The first ascent of Speckled Mountain.

Rebuilding the float.

The flood.  Note from which side of the torrent this picture was taken (I guess we weren't going out that day after all).

One of many Thanksgiving Christmas tree expeditions.

An early firewood project.  Gail appears to be a big help.  Note the car in the foreground.

Want one???  (Check out the old picnic table in the background).
