Kawartha in September of 1963. Some Highlights in Kawartha's Past: 1924 Kawartha built by the Stevens Family out of old water towers. The beams come from a barn built in 1792. 1956 Kawartha purchased by the Luce Family. 1957 Kawartha electrified. 1963 Kawartha purchased by the Purkis Family.
